Pastoral Staff and Council

Our Leadership is comprised of Senior Pastor Jason Johnson and the Pastor's Advisory Council. Pastor Jason, under God's authority and guidance, leads the Church on the mission we tirelessly pursue: telling the life changing message of Jesus Christ to all people.

Bishop Jason Johnson

Senior Pastor

Pastor Jason seeks God and His Word for guidance as he leads the church forward in the vision to reach the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Jason is an ordained Bishop in the Church of God, and arrived at West Clayton in 2003. He has two daughters, MacKenzie and Madison, and enjoys mountain biking and hiking during his free time.

Pastor's Advisory COUNCIL

Council members serve in an advisory role to the Pastor as it relates to carrying out the vision of the church.

Dan Heath

Council

Dan serves on the Church Council and as the Clerk, among many other things.

Dan is married to his lovely wife, Julie and they have two kids, Patrick and Danielle. Dan arrived at WCCG in 1994. He enjoys playing music, recording, and photography in his spare time.

Gene McLamb

Council

Gene has a heart for ministry and loves seeing young adults and youth grow closer to God. He leads the EPIC Young Adults ministry and serves in several areas of the church.

Gene is married to his lovely wife, Tammy, and they have one daughter, Melissa. Gene began at WCCG in 2001. He loves time with his family (especially playing with his grandson), and enjoys cooking, automobiles, and fellowship with others.

JEFF LEE

Council

Jeff is an ordained minister in the Church of God, has served as youth pastor for several years, led the drama ministry, and has served in the music ministry for many years.

Jeff is married to his lovely wife, Sarah, and they have four daughters, Moriah, Olivia, Amelia, and Annabelle. Jeff began at WCCG in 1998. He loves sports, movies, and spending time with the family.
